Autumn and Halloween season have always been my favorite time of year… but I’m not the biggest horror/gore fan. A friend was pressing me on this recently, asking how it’s even possible to enjoy Halloween if I don’t like gore filled horror movies. Towards the end of her questioning, she finally declared me a “spooky cutie”; someone who enjoys the cuter side of all things spooky.

The term stuck, and inspired me to share some of the fellow Spooky Cuties that I follow on instagram! Read on to meet 13 Spooky Cuties worth following this spooky season.

*This post is not sponsored by any of the 13 Spooky Cuties mentioned *

1. Miss Tosh:
For the Glamorous Spooky Cuties

Miss Tosh is a world renowned Burlesque star who can do it all.

Her list of incredible feats includes (but is not limited to): Haute couture Burlesque performances, producing her own Burlesque shows with artists from all over the world, and designing luxury loungewear that brings out the old Hollywood starlet within us all.

Just last week, Miss Tosh launched her new “Glamour Ghoul Collection” which features spooky glam head wraps, sunglasses, dresses, and more! I personally have my eye on the spider head wraps, bat-winged glasses, and the adorably spooky backpacks for sale! *subtly dropping bday hints 🙃*

Miss Tosh has also come up with a way to save Halloween: A Drive in Burlesque Show!!!

Live in the Los Angeles area? Click here to get tickets to her drive in “Creature Feature” show! And I’ll see you there! ☺️Pumpkin patch included!

2. Little Spooky Studio:
For the mostly wholesome Spooky Cuties

Spooky cute artwork that makes you smile and saw “awww”.

Somehow Little Spooky Studios manages to create adorable artwork that doesn’t look like anything Disney made up. Wooden wallhangings, stickers, stuffed coffins and prints are just a few of the items you can find on their Etsy shop! Click here to shop! Follow @littlespookystudio for daily mostly wholesome art work.

3. Crying on Main Street:
For the podcast listening Spooky Cuties

Crying on Main street is a podcast about theme park history that was created by two spooky cuties: Meagan Meli and Andrea Gilletti. While the topics are not always spooky themed, a majority of them are thanks to the hosts being self proclamed “Disney Goths”.

I found them when Holly Madison guest stared on an episode called “The Park Next Door”. I’ve been listening to it weekly since then. I’m currently listening to #57: Urban legends, hauntings and mysteries with Billy Jensen. Meagan and Andrea have a wealth of knowledge on the Disney parks that impresses this former cast-member every time I listen to them.

Apart from listening to their podcast, you can also follow them on instagram for spooky themed art and images. @cryingonmainst is their podcast instagram, cohost and spooky illustrator Meagan is at @meaganmeli, and cohost and spooky shop owner Andrea is at @andandandrea as well as @waxmoonshop.

4. Magical Lifestyle:
For the Spooky Cuties having Disney withdrawals

Disneyland is still closed due to the pandemic, which means this is most likely the first year I’ll miss out on Halloween decorations at the park. For the past three years my husband and I have gone to the Halloween party to celebrate my birthday, but this year I’ll be staying in instead… BOOOOO.

Raven, the blogger behind MagicalLifestyle, is not a Spooky Cutie year round, but a “Disney Influencer” who dishes out high fashion Disneyland shots. She’s still going to Walt Disney World on a regular basis; giving us the Spooky Disney content we’re all missing out on here in California. Follow her on Instagram at @magicallifestyle.

5. @ToryCakes_

Ok, so Tory is not really “spooky vibes” but she has prime Autumn content. Maybe it’s because I live in Los Angeles where we don’t have normal seasons… but I love following Tory for her fall themed images. I’ve been following Tory for years now and get SO excited when her fall content starts.

Her husband is a photographer and their photos together tell an honest, wholesome story. Every few years she starts a new instagram account, but her style and vibes have always been true to herself (not trying to copy others or change to keep up with trends etc.). Her current account is @ToryCakes_

6. Justin O’Neal Art

I am hopelessly obsessed with Justin O’Neal’s art. Every time he posts new work on instagram, I fall in love. t’s honestly difficult to write a coherent blurb for his artwork because I’m such a fangirl (it’s pathetic).

I obsess over fictional characters, and Justin brings them to life in eerie and disturbing ways. If you’re a pop-culture fan or a fan of dark art, Justin is the artist for you. Check out his work on Etsy here and follow him on instagram!! Trust me, spooky fans wont want to miss out on his inktober master pieces.

7. @KristenKaye_ @lilHalloweenie

Kristen is a true diehard Halloween fan who seeks out all the Halloween goodies at stores like Target and Michaels. Follow her @lilhalloweenie account if you are interested in Halloween decor, crafts, and more. She’s also such a sweetheart and has helped me find a specific spooky mug or decoration a few times now. =)

Kristen’s personal account on instagram (@kristenkaye_) has been ghosted by insta lately, meaning you can’t find her account if you search for her. BUT it is linked in the bio of her “All things Halloween” account (@lilhalloweenie).

8. Valfre

A personal favorite of mine, Valfre always outdoes herself with her annual Halloween artwork. Her sassy yet cute characters are prime examples of spooky cuties (even a Spooky with a booty…) and her annual Valfre Halloween costume contest brings joy year after year.

This year Valfre added new items to the Halloween collection, like phone cases, face masks, and even board games. Make sure to follow her on instagram @valfre so you don’t miss out on any of the Halloween costumes, and shop her new Halloween collection by clicking here!

9. The Pickety Witch

If Katrina Van Tassel had a modern etsy shop; this would be it. Witch lore inspired Tshirts, dolls, pins and more are sold on their etsy shop. All the artwork draws inspiration from either pop culture or folklore.

I follow them on instagram for Halloween culture inspiration (that billy goat doesn’t look so cute after watching The Witch though!😂😈)

10. The Black Dahlia Designs

Characters from the ultimate Spooky Cutie director, Tim Burton, as well as traditional Halloween creatures come to life in the form of glow-in-the-dark jewelry at The Black Dahlia Designs. I’m personally obsessing over the Ghost dog Zero earrings, but I have a bias towards Zero. ❤️

Follow her on instagram for Sale notifications (pssst one is happening NOW!!) and to find more Halloween themed influencers like @kristenkaye_. Shop their collections by clicking here!

11. Stonehart Jewlery:
For the Spooky Vamp Cuties

Stonehart jewelry makes hauntingly beautiful pieces of art year round; but this season they have truly outdone themselves with the solid 14 k gold (yes, solid) vampire caps. The caps can be worn while drinking, come in 14 k gold, silver or gold plated, and come with a mold mixture so they fit your unique teeth perfectly. Get your own by clicking here!

Stonehart is also the mastermind behind the strapless angel wings famously used in Selkie photoshoots. They have been taking custom orders on their wings and the end results have been completely captivating!! Follow them on instagram for creative inspiration and shop their dark fantasy inspired jewelry collections here!

12. Lady Hawk:
Life advice and Memes for Spooky Cuties

A witchy momma who posts spooky inspo all year round. Get your fix of spooky memes, dark pop culture references, and little bits of witchy knowledge. Follow her at @LadyHawk1909.

13. Kawaiine pins:
For the Harry Potter loving Spooky Cuties

Did you see that Harry Potter Beret??? Kawaiine pins has always made adorable pins based off of your favorite spooky characters, but this year they truly outdid themselves with the creation of the Harry Potter cake beret. I only wish I was ten years younger, but please, someone else, buy and enjoy this beret for me.
