The Hunter Nebula Wellies… guaranteed to cheer you up on a rainy day!

Rainy Day Confession
It was love at first sight with the Hunter Nebula Wellies… but I am in no way the “guru” of rainy days. I still own the same rain coat my mom gave me in college, I usually get by without rain boots, and I am currently using my umbrella as a temporary curtain (see below).
My rain gear gets little to no use each year; so I honestly can’t say if these boots will hold up in a heavy down pour. It’s also my first pair of Hunter boots! I’m going to update this post after wearing them more but for now… it’s an iconic British Brand founded in 1856 and has numerous glowing reviews online.
I can however, honestly say that they are the COOLEST rain boots I have ever seen. The Hunter Nebula Wellies are also extremely comfortable and on the larger size (making them perfect for pairing with wool socks). They’re also selling out crazy fast so I figured I should share!!

UPDATE 1/1/21: I have worn them in the POURING rain on an hour long walk with my dog. They are AWESOME. They’re very comforatable to wear for a long period of time but they’re also definitely roomy. You can double up your socks or wear wool socks with them if that’s what you’re into!
I was also worried that the ankle boot version wouldn’t be puddle proof; but I was pleasantly surprised! No splashes got in!
The Hunter Nebula Wellies
The rain boots that are as playful as the term “wellies”, the Hunter Nebula Wellies, are an iridescent dream. They come in several different colors: lavender, black, bright blue, red, pink, ombre maroon, orange and silver.
I got the short style boots in lavender from Free People (it’s already sold out! ðŸ˜). I personally don’t like the feeling of jeans tucked into rain boots, and prefer an ankle boot cut that my jeans barely cover. If there was a lavender Chelsea style I would have gotten that, but the “short” was the shortest style I found. The Nebula Wellies come in a tall, short, and Chelsea version, so you can buy whatever style you prefer!
What style is your favorite?? I’m starting to fall for the tall Lavender style too… can’t you just picture it with a cute wool dress, tights, and big chunky socks? *sigh*
