I was devastated when I found out my Glamglow mud face mask wasn’t cruelty free; it had been my go to mask for my post workout breakouts for months. But I was, and am, determined to become a conscious consumer. So I used the last of my mud mask and started researching cruelty free & vegan alternatives.

One facemask that stood out was Hanacure’s all-in-one facial treatment. I had tried one treatment before and remembered the results had been immediate and drastic. So I double checked that it was cruelty free and vegan (it’s both!) and ordered the All-in-one facial set again.

Hanacure’s promise promise?

Hanacure makes a lot of promises but backs them up with just as much evidence. Hanacure promises to diminish the appearance of wrinkles, damaged skin (scars), and acne while giving the skin an instant hydration boost. To me, this sounds exactly like every other “all in one” face mask/treatment. What makes Hanacure stand out is the overwhelming evidence they share to back up their claims. You’ve probably seen Drew Barrymore trying out Hanacure, but my favorites are when they use the mask on anyone over 60. The results are just so much more dramatic when it has more defined wrinkles to work with.

My Plan

I got the All-in-One Facial set that comes with four different face masks. Hanacure recommends using the mask twice a week until desired results are achieved. After that, they say that you only need to use the mask once a month or so to maintain your results.

Since I have four face masks, I’ll be doing a two week trial. I’m hoping to see a few different improvements with the appearance of my developing wrinkles, adult acne, and acne scars.

Before and After one mask

I stuck with my plan and did one face mask twice a week for two weeks straight. The masks had enough product to cover my face, neck, and chest area.

Wrinkle results

I’m happy to share that my wrinkles were minimized every time I used the All-in-One Facial mask! By the last mask my wrinkles diminished into nothingness (except for the one worry wrinkle by my eyebrow), and my acne scars had noticeably diminished as well. It even worked on the wrinkles on my neck and chest.

Acne results

As for my acne… it was a rollercoaster. The first time I used the mask my pores went through the detox phase and I definitely broke out. The good news was that it did immediately reduce the appearance of any acne scars. After the second mask my skin completely cleared. By the third mask, my skin was glowing.

So… What next?

After the four masks, you’re only advised to use the masks for “touch ups”. And each one is pretty expensive ($30 a mask!). My plan is to get another 4 piece mask set when my face is looking sleepy again (2-3 months). When I’m completely burnt out from work I feel and look a decade older than I am. Hanacure was able to give me those ten years back. And then some 😊

Did it replace GlamGlow Mud Mask?

Kind of.

I used to use the GlamGlow Mud Mask on trouble areas as needed; but it didn’t pass my bathroom cruelty free test.

I can’t consider Hanacure a complete replacement for GlamGlow because I won’t be using it as a trouble spot treatment (each Hanacure mask is a full face mask due to the mixing process). The Hanacure mask will replace GlamGlow as my new favorite mask, but I’ll need to keep looking for a cheaper exfoliating mask I can use regularly after runs.
