Child of Wild Cobra Necklace
My favorite jewelry piece this fall is the Gold Cobra necklace from Child of Wild. The Cobra charm is larger and heavier than your average necklace and the detailing on it is unbelievable. I wear mine as a totem; cobras represent protection, ancient knowledge, fortune, and powerful changes.
Thanks to its weight, I can always feel it and remind myself of my current goals. It’s partially to blame for this new blog; I’ve just been dying to shed my skin for awhile.
Introduction to Child of Wild to today
I first became “aware” of Child of Wild in 2015 (2015!!!!) when they did a collaboration with Flash Tattoos. I got the pack and wore the tattoos during a two week road trip through Arizona. Below are images of the sun rising in the Grand Canyon; taken on the last day of that road trip.
Flash forward to a few months ago when I was searching for some sort of Cobra jewelry. My search led me back to Child of Wild where I found the Gold Cobra necklace and immediately fell in love.
I also started wondering if the tattoos were still on the site, and they were!!! Except now they are on sale for $6! I’m using a second pack on a D.I.Y jacket project that I’ll be sharing soon.
Call of the wild?
This necklace seems to call out any snakes around me because always more snakes when I’m wearing the necklace. My friend and I saw three different snakes in one day! We almost stepped on two of them… bleh.
